Applying to GW Community School
GWCS has rolling admissions and we accept students (grades 7-12) throughout the year. To schedule a meeting with our Director, Alexa C. Warden or our Assistant Principal, Tim Connelly, contact us using this online form.
Once the online form is completed, you will be directed to Calendly, which is our online scheduling system. We look forward to connecting with you.
STEP 1 - INTERVIEW
New students and their parents will meet with the Director, Alexa Warden, or the Assistant Principal, Tim Connelly, to learn more about our school, visit classes, talk with current students and teachers, and get a feel for GWCS.
STEP 2 - APPLICATION
After the interview, we will provide you with an information packet that includes an application. Interested families submit an application along with a writing sample, student photo, and application fee.

STEP 3 - NOTIFICATION
Once we receive the completed application materials, we will review them and contact applicants regarding admission.
STEP 4 - ENROLLMENT
Upon admission, we will provide an enrollment packet to the applicant. A signed contract and payment of the registration fee will reserve the incoming student’s space in their respective class. In addition to an acceptance letter, the enrollment packet includes:
