GWCS celebrates Halloween all week long. This year included pumpkin carving, spooky waffle breakfast, scary movies after school, and culminated in Howling Halloween Hoopla. The Hoopla is usually an outdoor event with dangling donuts, outdoor games, and a costume contest. But the weather was a bit drippy so new indoor activities were initiated. It was a spookalishess day filled with a TON of sweets. Students went trick-or-treating at different classrooms and participated in a variety of activities including a pumpkin ring toss, Halloween skee ball, Goldie's Spooky Stories, guess how many skittles, face painting, shopping at G&CO, costume contest, and more! Leading into Thanksgiving, we are thankful for opportunities like this to play and be silly as a community.
